Day 01: Pyramids / Egyptian Museum
Nile wave Travel representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada or El Gouna to transfer to Hurghada bus station taking first class air-conditioned bus to Cairo. Head to Giza Plateau to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos, which were named by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,Then proceed to visit the great sphinx the human head with a lion's body, which maybe dates back to the time of king Chephren; Then proceed to the valley temple, which belongs to the pyramid of chefren where it was done the mummification of his body. Next we will move onto the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented,
including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,400 years before it was discovered in the 4th of November 1922 by the British Howard carter. After that you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 02: Salah El Din Citadel / Old Cairo / Khan El Khalili
Pay a visit to Salah El Din Citadel which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. After that visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came especially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Over 43 years. Then proceed to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. After that Visit Old Cairo where you will enjoy, the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga.
Then transfer to Cairo Bus Station taking first class air-conditioned bus to Hurghada. Upon arrival in Hurghada Bus Station, transfer to your hotel in Hurghada to Gouna. Bus ticket: either first class or Royal Class upto the bus availability.
