Eastern desert safari

In the South of Sinai, you can see how the soft desert mixes with rocky mountains of different heights. This panorama continues until the Sinai Mountain., Continue to St. Catherine then up to Moses Mountain

Day 1
Arrival at Cairo international airport. Meet and assist by our representative through immigration and custom formalities. Meet your guide in Cairo and drive to Sinai via the Suez Canal tunnel. Continue driving along the west coast of the Sinai Peninsula to Abu Zenima through Wadi Matallah to Serabit El Khadem, a Bedouin village.

Day 2
Hike up Mount Serabit 550 meters above sea level. Visit the Temple of Hathor and the turquoise mines. Drive to Eltieh Plateau on route; visit the Tomb of Sheikh Obus and the Forest of Pillars. Continue to St. Catherine. Overnight in an organized camp.

Day 3
Early hike up Moses Mountain (2,285 meters). Descend to visit the Monastery. Drive east 180 kms to Wadi Ghazala, overnight in the Hudra Oasis.

Day 4
Drive through Wadi Hudra and Wadi Nakhil for a magnificent hike of the canyon. Continue to Nuweiba Beach, chance for a swim and snorkeling. Drive south to Dahab. Overnight.

Day 5
Explore the area of Dahab (free time at El Alsa village) and drive south to Wadi El Keed. Visit the area of Nabqe where the mangroves grow. Overnight at the coast.

Day 6
Drive to the National Aquatic Park Ras Mohammed for a magnificent snorkeling tour between the famous coral reefs. Continue to Cairo. Arrival in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Cairo.

Day 7
Breakfast. Full day sighseing in Cairo visiting the Pyramids of Gizeh, the Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum.

Day 8
Breakfast. At the propoer time transfer to the airport to fly to your destination.
